OLIVE TREE METAPHOR
Was it a coincidence that Jesus was arrested on The Mount of Olives, at the garden of Gethsemane? (Matthew chapter 26). The Olive tree has long been understood as a metaphor for Israel (Romans 11:17-21). That the Son of David should be taken in such a place seems significant. At Hephzibah we seek to understand Yeshua in His Hebraic context as the Jewish Messiah and the Saviour of Mankind.
